Description

GeneDx was founded in 2000 by two scientists from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to address the needs of patients and clinicians in diagnosing rare inherited disorders. Currently, GeneDx offers testing for more than 400 rare Mendelian disorders, and gene panels for inherited cardiac disorders, inherited cancer syndromes, neurological disorders, and mitochondrial disorders. In addition, GeneDx also offers Whole Exome Sequencing and whole genome chromosomal microarray testing. Our highly trained and experienced physicians, geneticists, and genetic counselors work as a team to bring gene discoveries to clinical medicine for use in direct patient care.
